Mankske, Robert and Prohaska, Daniel. Superior labrum anterior to posterior (SLAP) rehabilitation in the overhead athlete. Physical Therapy in Sport 11.4 (Nov 2010): p110(12). This article was the results of testing shoulder injuries. More specifically superior labral anterior to posterior (SLAP) lesions, which is a serious injury that usually requires surgery of some kind. This injury doesn’t always require surgery and sometimes can heal with therapy. This article takes data from shoulder injuries, whether or not it had surgery or not and how it recovered. This is to inform anyone that wants to know whether or not to undergo shoulder surgery after an injury. Again, aimed at anyone how withstood a shoulder injury or a doctor that may want more information on the effects of surgery. This proves great points to both rehab and surgery as viable options to recovering from an injury. This provides valuable insight to both surgery and rehab and supports my thoughts on both subjects.
