Dushan, Henry. Adductor tenotomy: its role in the management of sports-related chronic groin pain. Archives of Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery 130.8 (August 2010): p965(6). This article approaches the difficulty of groin injuries. There is little that can be done in a case of a strain or tear of the groin muscles. This tackles another possibility of surgery as an answer to heal an injury. It compares activity capability before injury, after injury, pre and post-surgery. Before injury the muscle is at the best function output, after surgery the muscle is significantly weaker and the muscle never seems to regain full function. This helps the better understanding of injured groins and surgery outcomes. This is aimed at patients of groin injuries and physicians that need more information. This provides quality information about the groin muscles and their functionality. This being a critical muscle that not only athletes, but all people, need to have healthy, I needed this as a source.
